Hi I’m Lara Ellerbeck

I am biologist, I am teacher, I am voice actress!

My journey taught me that it is worth trying out new things. Becoming biologist was a perfect decision because it got me closer to who I am. Deciding to master in teaching made me realize that this new road leads me to the job I’ve got in my genes. Finally realizing that there is voice acting, made me find my passion and role in life.

In teaching school we have had plenty of voice coaching seminars and I always loved to explore what voice can do, how the voice works and how I can better myself with practice. As a teacher it is really important to be aware of your voice. Voice can help a lot with handling students and being a good teacher without having to scream. Awareness of breath and body will also help to be the best version of myself as a teacher.

The business of voice acting will therefore make me a better and more convenient teacher.

Traveling and doing outdoor sports will always fulfill me. Without those two components of my life I could not be happy. I need the outdoors and the movement of my body. Sight seeing runs through cities and nature are my favorites. They combine traveling, exploring, being healthy and doing sports.

Most important of all: I am a mother of a beautiful baby boy who makes my life turbulent but so worth living.
